A small Welsh town, Little Green Street and Tad Jones is planning a bumper party for the coronation on the 2nd of June the young Princess Elizabeth will be crowned and what a joyous day it will be for all the neighbours, arrangements are made with union jacks, bunting, music, food with everyone getting dressed up. Even best friends teenagers Lauren, Flora and Rhianon are wondering what dresses they can make. This book for me was a delightful easy book to read, that has it's full flow of ups and downs in the characters lives. that I enjoyed every bit. It's so enchanting that you feel you are there with them all in the run up to the big day, even though I wasn't even born then It's a reminder of my family that are no longer with us, and to now look forward to celebration another coronation our new King her son. what a life the Queen has had. It's a must read for everyone and such a treasure, I award 5 stars that would double that.
